practice

We are a London based practice located in Camden Town, London. Our aim is to fulfill our client’s necessities of space, design and comfort. Light, colour and textures are always the constant of our designs. The practice was founded in 1974 by architect Tim Bruce-Dick (left) who is the principal designer on all projects. He oversees every job and liaises with clients. Tim received an MA in the History of Art from Edinburgh University and a Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association School in London. He then worked for Arup Associates before starting his practice. Tim has been actively engaged with the theory and history of architecture throughout his career. He taught architectural design and history at Oxford Brookes University Architecture Department and has led many architectural study tours throughout Britain, Europe, Russia and America. He presently teaches The Appreciation of Contemporary Architecture at City University, London. His interest in history and theory combined with over 30 years of practice means we have a deep understanding of historic buildings and how contemporary architecture can fit into our culture and environment.
